ACAC Members

There are currently ten committee members of the Australian Companion Animal Council. Members comprise trade, service, business, professional and welfare associations whose members are considered to be principally or predominately engaged in activities in the pet care industry and having similar objectives as the council. All current members are national organisations.

	Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) National association of registered purebred dog breeders
	Animal Health Alliance (Australia) Ltd National association for manufacturers of animal health products
	Delta Society Australia Non-profit organisation committed to helping people through positive interaction with companion animals
	Pet Food Industry Association of Australia (PFIAA) National association of pet food manufacturers
	Pet Industry Association of Australia (PIAA) National association representing pet industry sectors including pet shop owners, kennel and cattery owners, professional groomers and other pet care providers
	Petcare Information & Advisory Service Australia Pty Ltd (PIAS) Non-profit organisation committed to the promotion of socially responsible pet ownership
	Veterinary Manufacturers & Distributors Association (VMDA) National association of veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturers
	Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA) Non-profit organisation representing the veterinary nursing profession
